Bead sampler
The bead sampler is mounted on cartridge paper, which I dyed turquoise. You can see how I have attached the page to the dowel, so that this can hang in my display stand.
It was lovely to see you at the Summer School. Your work is beautiful! I remember doing the bead sampler - I feared for my eyesight using the seed beads!
It was great to see you again at Sian's Workshop. Keep me pposted on your entry in the juried show and I look forward to seeing you here in Long Beach early next year.
I've been stitching since I was five years old and decided to take City & Guilds Embroidery to improve my design skills. I live in Wharfedale with my husband, David, who is a furniture designer and cabinetmaker. Our son has just joined our company and is training to be a cabinetmaker.

Stephanie, what a wonderful way to display your samples. Thanks for the links to other Distant Stitch blogs - I am trying to keep up with them all!
